Every Meridian shoe starts from one archived last. The toe-box flaw — a slight asymmetry left in the pattern — is kept, not corrected. It reads as a signature if you look close enough.
We produce in numbered lots. Small batches let the material lead: full-grain suedes, Italian waxed cotton laces, cork beds that take the shape of the foot.
Laces are 5mm Italian waxed cotton. They hold torque without slipping through the eyelets.
The outsole pattern is cast from a 1984 herringbone mould and updated with recycled rubber.
Hand-finished foxing band. Each pair is checked for height variance before curing.

Our shoes are cut to the '84 last, which runs slightly long. We recommend sizing down half a size if you are between sizes, or ordering your usual size if you prefer room for thicker socks.
No. Each drop is produced in a single numbered lot. 500 pairs was the point. Once they are gone, they stay gone.
We ship worldwide from our workshop in Milan. EU orders arrive in 2–4 working days. International orders typically take 5–10 working days depending on customs.
Brush lightly with a soft crepe brush to lift dust. Avoid water where possible; if dampened, stuff with paper and dry at room temperature away from heat.
Unworn shoes in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Exchanges depend on remaining stock; limited drops may only be eligible for store credit.
