Founded as a private index of footwear — one part atelier, one part ledger. We release in small rotations, record every detail, then archive.
About / StorySOLEHAUS is not a warehouse of trends. We build each release as a numbered entry — a silhouette, a material story, a price band, and a final archive date. The result is a catalog that behaves like a release ledger rather than an endless aisle.
Our buy is small. Our documentation is obsessive. Every pair that leaves the house carries an index number that traces back to the season, the panel, and the maker.

House Values
Small Rotations
We never carry hundreds of styles. Each season is limited to six to ten silhouettes so every entry receives the attention — and the buyer — it deserves.
Material First
The upper, the lining, the foam, the outsole. Each component is chosen before the marketing line is written. If the material story is weak, the shoe does not make the index.
Archive, Never Liquidate
When a pair sells out, it is archived — not discounted, not restocked, not hidden. The ledger records the final count and the release closes cleanly.

The Build
Suede Grain
Full-grain suedes are selected by hand and cut against the nap for a consistent, tactile finish that ages without flattening.
Dual-Density Midsole
A firm carrier foam supports the arch while a softer top layer cushions strike points — comfort without the pillowy collapse.
Gum Cupsole
Moulded in natural gum rubber with a shallow lug pattern for grip that improves as the surface wears in.
