The archive is the store
OFFPACE started as a disagreement. We didn't think the best sneakers had to shout — they had to be built right, released deliberately, and treated like objects worth keeping.
In 2019 we opened the first archive room in Rotterdam: a quiet space where every pair had a serial, a material sheet, and a reason for existing. Today we ship drops to over 40 countries, but the room is still how we think.
Every silhouette we release is produced in small batches. We don't chase seasons. We chase the moment a shoe feels inevitable.

Built like print
Three rules govern every OFFPACE release. They keep us honest when hype doesn't.
Provenance
Every material is named and traceable. We publish the tannery, the mill, and the compound — because a shoe's origin is part of its design.
Construction
We spec for the 300th wear, not the 30th. Reinforced stitch counts, lasting boards, and outsole durometer are tested before a sample is approved.
Restraint
We release fewer silhouettes than we design. If a shoe doesn't earn its place in the archive, it never gets a SKU.
Specimens, not samples
1.2 mm full-grain split from a single tannery in Tuscany.
Injected supercritical compound, 38% lighter than standard EVA.
Per pair, lock-stitched, no glued overlays at stress points.
Lug depth calibrated for wet pavement and light trail.
